The transmitter part of the circuit is built around a 555 timer IC with few other components, the receiver part is very simple, it only consists three parts which are a coil, 100nF capacitor and a 3V bulb. The coils should be same on both sides or the circuit will not work properly. Both coils can be built by winding 30 turns of 30 SWG enameled wire on 5cm diameter. The circuit will work on few centimeters but this range can be increased by doing experiments with coil. The operating voltage can also be increased at the transmitter side if you require more voltage at the receiver's side.
