Here is the project of a simple water level indicator circuit. The circuit is very easy to build and can be made in few minutes if you have an LED, a 470 Ohms resistor and any type of battery from 5 to 12 volt. For using the circuit attache the two wires or probes in the water tank at your desired level and
connect the battery. The LED will light up when water will touch these two wires or probes and this will indicate the level of water has reached on your desired level.
You can also connect three or more LEDs with this simple water level indicator circuit and connect them on different levels of the tank as shown in the figure 2, to indicate the low, medium and full level of tank, connect the battery. The LED will light up when water will touch these two wires or probes and this will indicate the level of water has reached on your desired level.
