Below is a schematic of a tunable FM antenna booster or FM antenna amplifier circuit which can be used to amplify the faint or distant FM signals. The circuit is using two transistors to increase signal gain to good level. The transistors are general purpose 2N3904. The circuit is using two tunable
tank circuits. L1 and L2 are 1½ turns of #20 enameled wire wound on a 3/8" diameter mandrel. Use rabbit ears antenna or other good FM antenna as input.
Voltages at Test Points = (TP1) = 0.68V, (TP2) = 3.85V, (TP3) = 0.66V
