The circuit is using two ICs and few other discrete components. IC1 is a 555 timer IC which is working as a clock signal generator in the circuit. The IC2 is a decade counter with 10 outputs. The operating voltage of the circuit is 9V to 12V DC.
For good performance fit the circuit is a suitable enclosure with a battery and place the push switch S1 and the LEDs at the outside of the enclosure.
Here is a very interesting project of an electronic dice circuit. The circuit will provide a lot of fun by showing different numbers just like a dice, every time the push button S1 is pressed and leaved the circuit will show a different number. The circuit is using 7 LEDs which should be arranged as shown
