The main part of the circuit is a L200 IC; L200 is an adjustable voltage regulator IC. It has many built in features like short circuit protection, adjustable current, over voltage protection up to 60V, overheat protection, low current consumption on standby mode etc. The circuit required 18V DC input voltage to provide 15V max output voltage.
The output voltage of the circuit can be adjusted with the 10K variable resistor.

This is a simple project of a regulated adjustable power supply using L200 IC. The circuit can provide adjustable output from 2.85V to 15V DC with 2A max output current. The project can be used for many purposes like charging and powering different electronic projects and devices.
